Why am I running?

I decided to run for office after seeing too many uncontested elections and growing concerned about large-scale proposals for development. These include hundreds of new homes planned along Trapper’s Loop and exclusive developments where ordinary citizens are not allowed to enter. Like many of you, I care deeply about sustainable growth, responsible development, and the infrastructure needed to support our community. I worry about the pace of development in our county and whether we are adequately planning for its impacts on roads, water, and quality of life.

I believe we can do better in planning for the future and in communicating openly with the public. Strong communities support families through recreation and open space, reliable infrastructure, quality schools, childcare, and public safety. We must also continue to support our farmers, seniors, and working families in smart, responsible ways
